Have students write about doing their first college application. In it they should talk about parts of the application that they struggled on, parts that were easy, anything that surprised them, whether or not there was an essay and what they did to prepare for it and write it. They can write short stories, poems, or a review on the process of a college application, much like a movie review. You as a teacher can combine these reviews so future students know what to look forward to when applying to the same schools.
