Have students pick a decade from the time their school opened to the present. Have them contact alumni to find out what the school was like then and how it has changed. What students were like then, what they wore, where they hung out, what they did, what they ate, what they said, what was popular and important among teens for the time. Then have them talk about how the school has changed, what students are like now, what they wear, where they hang out, what they do, what they eat, what they eat, and what is popular and important to teens and discuss the similarities and differences between the time periods.
